Jeanette M. Sladek, a resident of Genoa City, WI passed away peacefully on January 31, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 21, 1925 in St. Paul, MN to William and Julia (nee Kufner) Fastner.
Jeanette loved God and her family. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was a beautiful, fun-loving and energetic lady who loved singing and bowling. She loved animals and all of God's creation.
Jeanette will be deeply missed by her dear children, Fred (Elizabeth) Sladek, Jr. of CA; Julie (Tom) Harrison of Johnsburg, Michael and Heidi Sladek of Genoa City; by her grandchildren Mary Elizabeth (Kenneth) Rawson, Jill Marie (Joseph) Szlendak, Daniel Sladek, Tom (Tracy) Harrison III and Anne and Matthew Harrison; her great-grandchildren, Megan and Brian Rawson, Brittany Szlendak, Nicole (Jason) Vehann, Brennan and Daniella Sladek and Claire and Molly Harrison and Ian Heitz; her great-great grandchildren, Kaleb Vehann and Conner Sladek; and by her sister Eileen Allan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred M. Sladek, by her parents and by her 11 brothers and sisters, Dorothy, Bernice, Lorraine, Dolores, Helen, Mary Ann, Clarence, William, Howard, Harry, and Kenneth.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 1 PM until the 2 PM Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2302 W. Church St., Johnsburg, IL 60051. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Woodstock.
