GRANDMA, I REMEMBER A THE GOOD TIMES I HAD STAYING AND PLAYING AT YOUR HOUSE AS A CHILD. YOU ALWAYS STOOD BESIDE ME IN ANYTHING I DID. I REMEMBER THE LETTERS OR CARDS I RECIEVED FROM YOU DURING MY LIFE ON HOW TO MAKE A BETTER PERSON OF MYSELF. YOU TAUGHT ME TO CARE FOR OTHERS REGARDLESS. I'VE TRIED MY BEST TO DO THAT. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU.

“I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.” My grandma would always say. I hear those words in her voice as if they were just said yesterday. My grandma was a spiritual woman who loved with all she had.
Grandma Polly was a caregiver; I at times would go with her to a client’s home as she would tend to them. She showed them the same love she gave her family. There was

Grandma Polly was a caregiver; I at times would go with her to a client’s home as she would tend to them. She showed them the same love she gave her family. There was no such thing as a shortcut when she was involved. She made sure anything she would do was done with love, done correct, and she took her time in doing so.
There would be times I could not sleep at night, she would warm me a glass of milk sit me on her lap hold me so very close, close enough to feel the beat of her heart. Nice slow steady beat for she was clam and had more patients then anyone I’ve ever known. As a drink my warmed glass of milk she would tell me bed time stories. She would walk with me back to my bed tuck me in and kiss me on my forehead.
My grandma will be missed by many, but she never will be gone from our hearts. Her loving warm smile is burned into our souls. The words she preached are etched into our minds, so we can remember how to follow in the lords holy light as she has done before us. Her words of her wisdom come to us in times that seem full of sorrow.
She was a righteous woman! She put the need of others before her own! She was my grandma my light when all seemed dark. She was my guide when all seemed lost. She was the one who always believed in me. She was the first one to prey for me when I needed to be saved. She filled my heart and she mended my soul.
I love you grandma so very much and I thank you for all you have blessed me and everyone who got the pleasure of meeting you. This world is a better place because you were in it. Rest in peace grandma you are with God now. It’s your turn to be taken care, your turn to be put first. Know that you’re in Gods hand I rest assured he will take care of you as you have taken care of me and everyone else yo

Grandma, I remember standing in your kitchen in Dunedin, always sticking my fingers in the butter while you cooked when I was a child, and getting my ears pierced when daddy didn't agree. Your love, strength, and wisdom will never be forgotten. I love you Grandma.

Aunt Polly will be so missed by our family. We love you Aunt Polly.

I wish to offer my deepest condolences to the West family on the loss of your loved one. I didn't know Mrs West, but was sorry to hear of her passing. And may the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort continue to comfort you and sttengthen you through this very difficult time.
